On offer today is a stunning Patek Philippe Calatrava roman numeral ‘Microrotor’ in white gold, ref 5120G.
This is one of those wristwatches there I’d say it’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing. While seemingly humble - this timeless dress watch features a 35mm white gold case, with an exceptionally finished geneva-sealed micro-rotor movement.
This Calatrava features many details hidden by the devil - from the finely crafted hobnail bezel to printed Roman numeral dial; this timepiece truly encapsulates the minimalist spirit while packing a punch.
Presented in ‘Good condition’, the this Calatrava has visible surface level wear on the case as well as a ding on the 1 o’clock lug, note that there is a hairline on the crystal - and patina on the hands with some of the brass popping thru.
However, this is certainly the perfect timepiece for the daily with its under cover nature - sold with it’s head only, 18k white gold buckle & a period correct ‘Pencil Case’ Patek Box - it’s paired on an aftermarket navy croc strap.
