While most skeletons movements are done so by removing material from existing calibres; the calibre A&S5101 was conceptualised as a skeleton; with the main purpose of displaying the mechanical intricacies. Aside from its pure art form - did I mention its double barrel holds 90 hours of power reserve?
The calibre A&S5101 designed by Sebastien Chaulmontet was done so with the principle of symmetry in wind, having the double-barrel power reserve, running seconds & escape placed in an symmetrical manner; with 7 distinct bridges adorning the dial side beneath the indexed chapter-ring.
In-line with Arnold & Sons haute reputation; this is no ordinary skeleton - the black ADLC-treated mainplate contrast sharply to the Palladium bridges; with a plethora of chamfers, bevels & gold chatons. Adding an incredible depth & dimensionality to a mechanically-simple movement.
Dating to 2019, and presenting in near-mint condition with minimal wear present; it is accompanied with its complete double box, booklet & paper.
