On offer today is indeed the first serially produced ming ever made, the 17.01 in grade 5 titanium featuring a mossaic guilloche blue dial; a limited run of only 150 pieces.
While the more practical 17.09 may be the more popular of the brethren, the 17.01 is as OG as Snoop Dogg, being the very first Ming ever produced; a humble start to what would be an independent powerhouse.
Encompassing simplicity in execution; the 17.01 opts for a manual wind calibre SW-210 with the minutes & hours; plaid against what seems like a deep rich blue dial. Another glance however, reveals a tasteful mosaic guilloche pattern inlaid in a spiral manner; teasing the light gracefully on the wrist.
Dated to 2017 & presented in excellent condition with minor surface wear, this fine ming is sold with its complete Wooden Box, 2 OEM straps, cloth & Papaers.
