There is without question that the Apollo 11th mission is one of history’s most important space mission - commemorated here during it’s 30th Annivesary by Omega; appropriately with its own special moonwatch.
Featuring the legendary Apollo 11 mission emblem, with the symbolic eagle landing on the moon with the earth in the distance - the crest is flanked with Neil Armstrong’s quote; and the date & time of the landing commemorated below.
Sharing the same specs otherwise with the moonwatches of the period, this special speedy features a luminova dial with the classic 1861 movement. Dated to 1999, presented in excellent condition with minor surface wear; it is sold as watch only with bracelet fitting approx 7.3” wrist.
