On offer today is a timepiece fabricated with the very ideal of prestige - the iconic Day-Date reference; the 1803 ‘Japan No-Lume’ chapter ring dial dated to 1971.

This particular 1803 features a few tricks up it’s sleeve - firstly, the chapter ring dial featuring numerals tucked neatly behind the hour indexes in intervals of five; with fully graduated chapter ring complementing finely.

The sharp eyed amongst you may have noticed the dial & hands bearing no-lume plots; a byproduct of the Japanese Ban on tritium during the early 70’s. Establishing a clean & minimalist aesthetic; collectors have come to christened this unique configuration as the ‘Japan No-Lume’ dial.

Being a vintage reference, this 1803 features the non-quickset calibre 1556, as well as the charming plexiglass associated with the vintage temperament.

While retaining its original slightly softer bezel, the case has been refinished & sharpened - featuring crisp brushing & sharp lugs we have all come to love.

The dial & hands are near flawless, earning an overall ‘excellent-vintage’ grading. Sold as head only on an aftermarket dark-chocolate strap.
